Taco Software values the privacy of our customers and of our web site visitors. Accordingly, we only use personal information that you provide us as follows:
Email Correspondence
All email messages that you send to Taco Software will remain private, except for the circumstances listed below. The following are the only cases in which we will disclose information from email correspondence:
- You expressly give Taco Software your consent to publicly disclose information from an email message. In this case, we will require explicit permission to publish your name, email address, or email message content. We will only publish those of the previously listed items that you have approved.
- We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our web site.
Journal Comments
Taco Software uses journals to distribute information on its web site. These journals allow web site visitors to post comments. Taco Software collects email addresses when these comments are posted; however, email addresses do not appear on the Taco Software web site. Taco Software may use email addresses from comments for individual communication, but the provisions of the "Email Correspondence" section above will apply to these email addresses. By commenting, you give Taco Software permission to publish your name, your provided web site Uniform Resource Locator (URL), and your comment message. Taco Software reserves the right to publish comments on our web site and on other media, but we will never alter or otherwise misrepresent a comment that is posted on a journal. We may choose to delete comments at our discretion.
Taco Software Products
Taco Software distributes software products, which web site visitors may choose to download and use. Our software may have access to personal information on a user's computer, but our software does not covertly transmit personal information over a network and does not otherwise act as "spyware". We put great effort into ensuring that our products are secure, but as stated in our software agreements, we cannot be held liable for damages or privacy breaches that result from use of our software.
