Taco HTML Edit 1.6.1 is looking to add line numbering as a new feature as well as new toolbar icons.

Any chance Taco 1.6.1 could support Apple spell-checking
service (checking as you type)? I make tons of spelling mistakes
on my PHP pages and there are OSX based spelling libraries http://cocoaspell.leuski.net/ that support HTML spell checking.

Another very useful feature would be background PHP linting (php -l filename.php) of the current document, with marking of the offending sections (like a spell checker). On the PC, I've used Activestate's php/perl/tcl background linting in their "Komodo" editor, and it's extremely useful.

Thanks for a great editor, I use it every day for the pages at Magnatune (my Internet record label)!

Thanks for a great editor too, with version 1.6 i can comfortably learn PHP. Little tip: more character encoding capabilities (now only ASCII and UTF-8), please.
